Siberian Iris is prized for the beautiful
blooms
that cluster on grassy stems in abundance.
The foliage remains pert and green throughout the season even once the blossoms are spent, making it a terrific option for mass planting and
weed suppression.
Siberian Iris thrives in
moist to wet
conditions, where others will not.
Because the roots drive down deeply they are
drought tolerant
and perform famously on slopes as
erosion control.
Particularly stunning around streams, pools, ponds and water gardens in
naturalized
settings, this is one perennial that simply won't disappoint.
